Mustard Green Soup w/ beef – Canh dưa cải thịt bò

Ingredients
- 200 g beef
- 200 g pickled mustard greens cut into 2-inch length
- 2 small tomatoes cut into wedges
- garlic minced
- shallot minced
- sugar, salt, pepper
- fish sauce
- chicken stock
- vegetable oil
Instructions
- Season the beef with 1 tsp minced garlic, 1 tsp minced shallot, 1/2 tsp stock powder, 2 tsp fish sauce, some pepper. Mix well and set aside for 15 mins.
- In a saucepan on medium heat, add 1 tbsp vegetable oil, fry some minced garlic and shallot until fragrant, then add the beef and stir-fry the beef until it's no longer pink.
- Add the tomatoes and the mustard greens. Stir-fry everything for about 2-3 mins, then add 1 liter of water and 1 tsp salt.
- Turn the heat on high to bring to a boil. Have a taste and adjust with some fish sauce and chicken stock.
- The beef is nicely tender and the mustard green is crunchy. The soup as a nice sour and sweet taste.
