The dish of tofu skin rolls with shrimp and meat is a famous dish in Chinese cuisine. The minced meat and shrimp are tightly rolled in tofu skin, then fried until crispy before being steamed. This dish combines the sweetness of shrimp and meat with the richness of tofu skin, creating a delicious and flavorful taste.
- 100 g fresh shrimp
- 100 g minced pork
- 50 g white cabbage
- 50 g carrot
- 10 g wood ear mushrooms
- spring onions
- 3 tofu skin
- 1 tbsp chicken seasoning powder
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1,5 tbsp cornstarch
- 1mcf tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp julienned ginger
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 5 tbsp water
- Finely chop the shrimp.
- Julienne the white cabbage.
- Julienne the carrot.
- Soak the wood ear mushrooms until soft, then finely chop.
- Clean and finely chop the spring onions.
- Cut each sheet of dried tofu skin into 2 pieces.
- Mix the chopped shrimp, minced pork, julienned cabbage, carrot, wood ear mushrooms, spring onions, chicken seasoning powder, sugar, pepper, cornstarch, and sesame oil together.
- Place the tofu skin sheets on a cutting board, spread a layer of warm water to soften them, put 2 teaspoons of filling in the middle, then evenly spread the filling and roll it up like spring rolls, repeat until all the filling is used.
- Fry the tofu skin rolls until golden brown, then steam for 7 minutes.
- Make the sauce: Mix ginger, oyster sauce, chicken seasoning powder, sugar, pepper, soy sauce, water, and cornstarch together, then cook over medium heat until the mixture thickens.
- Place the tofu skin rolls on a plate and pour the sauce over them.
