This salted tamarind chili tea combines the sourness of tamarind, the sweetness of candied pineapple and persimmons, harmoniously blending with the delicate aroma of green tea. Adding chili salt to the rim of the glass creates a unique flavor, balancing between saltiness and spiciness. Each sip offers a refreshing and balanced sensation, with a pleasant tartness and the distinctive aftertaste of chili salt. It's undoubtedly a unique and enticing beverage for any occasion.
- 50 g sour tamarind
- 15 g candied pineapple
- 2 persimmons
- 10 g green tea leaves
- Soaked tamarind
- 20 ml sugar syrup
- Chili salt
- Soft tamarind candy
- Core and dice the persimmons.
- Soak the sour tamarind in 70ml boiling water, then strain to extract the pulp.
- Put the green tea leaves in a cup, add 100ml water, and steep the tea for 15 minutes.
- In a shaker, combine 1 tablespoon of candied pineapple, 2 tablespoons of sour tamarind pulp, 20ml sugar syrup, 50ml brewed green tea, ice, squeezed persimmons, and shake well.
- Dampen the rim of a glass, dip it into chili salt, pour the tamarind tea into the glass, and top with soft tamarind candy. Garnish with soaked lime. Your drink is ready!
