Philippines 2024: Exploring a Hidden Paradise

When the Philippine Department of Tourism extended an invitation, I couldn’t say no! Alongside a few media friends from Da Nang, I embarked on a journey to discover this underrated gem—still unfamiliar to many Vietnamese travelers. It was my first time in the Philippines, and their hospitality blew me away. But beyond the warm welcome, the cultural contrasts, unique way of life, and distinct Filipino flavors took me on an emotional rollercoaster—ranging from uncertainty and surprises to sheer excitement.

TASMANIA 2019 – A Nature Lover’s Paradise

Join me and my extended family on a trip to Tasmania, where we rent an Airbnb and enjoy the picturesque landscapes of Australia. We’ll be visiting lavender gardens, exploring Salamanca Market, Cataract George, and indulging in the local wineries.

Melbourne 2019: Road Trips & Foodie Finds

The Great Ocean Road? Check. Gold-digging at Sovereign Hill? Check. A dreamy visit to Alowyn Garden? Triple check. This Melbourne adventure is packed with cherry-picking, Vietnamese comfort food in Footscray, and city explorations that make me want to go back again and again.

Taipei 2018: A Foodie’s Paradise

Taipei and I go way back, and this time, I return with a little travel companion! From crispy youtiao with soy milk to the legendary Yong Kang beef noodle soup, we dive deep into Taiwan’s rich culinary scene—night markets, sticky rice balls, and all the deliciousness in between!

Thaifex 2018: Asia’s Largest F&B Tradeshow

An exclusive pass to Asia’s biggest food event? Yes, please! Thanks to the Thai government, I got to explore brand-new food innovations, taste-test my way through endless booths, and even watch a Thai Iron Chef in action. And guess what? I finally met Pai from Hot Thai Kitchen!

First Time in the U.S. (2016): A Dream Come True

YouTube flew me out for their Community Contributor Summit, and what a ride it was! Hollywood, Universal Studios, food trucks, and a peek inside YouTube HQ—plus a heartwarming visit with my Vietnamese-American relatives in LA. This trip had everything!

Hokkaido Autumn 2015: A Cozy Culinary Escape

Hokkaido in the fall is pure magic. I dined on melt-in-your-mouth Holstein beef, learned Japanese cooking secrets at Nobu Kitchen, and sampled some of the best soup curry, rice balls, and pastries in the region. Oh, and let’s not forget the sake tasting!

Sapporo 2015: A Snowy Solo Adventure

Traveling solo? No problem! I braved the winter chill of Sapporo, made new Japanese friends over a bowl of ramen, indulged in fresh seafood at the market, and even took a cookie-making class (because why not?). This trip was packed with cozy, unforgettable moments.

Taiwan 2014: Hot Springs & Hidden Gems

From wandering through Jiufen Old Street’s nostalgic alleys to soaking in Beitou’s relaxing hot springs, this trip was equal parts adventure and relaxation. And yes, I had the famous Din Tai Fung soup dumplings—how could I not?

Sydney 2014: Fan Meetups & Bondi Beach Bliss

What’s better than good food and great company? I met up with amazing fans in Sydney, soaked up the sun at Bondi Beach, and indulged in the viral strawberry and watermelon cake (it was totally worth the hype!).

Bangkok 2014: A Girls’ Foodie Getaway

My besties and I took on Bangkok one dish at a time—tuk-tuk rides, floating market feasts, and the most incredible Thai street food, from fiery som tam to creamy coconut ice cream. If you love Thai food, this vlog is for you!

Seoul 2013: Cooking Contest & Culinary Tour

Competing in the “Seoul, My New Recipe” contest was nerve-wracking but thrilling! I showcased my Bulgogi Spring Rolls, made it to the finals, and then spent five days exploring Seoul’s vibrant food scene—thanks to an all-expenses-paid Taste Tour. What a way to experience Korea!
