Grilled Chicken Skewer - Gà Xiên Que Nướng - Watch how to make it on Youtube
- 500 g chicken breast or chicken thighs
- 1 tbsp garlic minced
- 2 tsp coriander seeds
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp annatto oil
- 2 tbsp oyster oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- Remove the skin and bones from the chicken, rinse well and drain. Cut the meat into long pieces to the thickness of 0.5 - 1cm.
- In a mortar and pestle, combine the garlic, pepper, and coriander seeds and grind finely. Add 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp annatto oil, 2 tbsp oyster sauce, 2 tbsp soy sauce, and mix well.
- Combine the marinade with the chicken and mix well. Leave to marinate in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
- Use bamboo skewers or metal ones to skew the meat. When finish skewing, place the chicken on the grilling pan or cook in an air fryer.
- When the chicken is cooked, turn it over and brush another layer of the marinade to make it look more shiny and eye-catching.
