- Skill Level: Child Friendly
- 5 sausages
- 75 g wheat flour
- 5 g sugar
- 1 g salt
- 75 g unsalted butter
- 35 g water
- mayonaise sauce
- pepper
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 75 gr butter with 75 grams of all-purpose flour. Use your hands to break the butter into smaller chunks. Add 5 gr powder sugar, a pinch of salt, and 35 ml of water and knead well until the dough is formed. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest for about 15 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Then take out the dough, briefly knead on a floured working surface, then roll out into a thin disk and cut into strips.
- Split the sausages halfway through in half and use the dough strips to wrap around them like mummies. Then put into the freezer for about 10 minutes to set.
- Bake the sausage mummies for about 8 minutes.
- Add mayonnaise into a piping bag, squeeze out a little amount to make the eyeballs for the mummies and then add peppercorns to make the pupils.
