Cooked rice is very hard for babies to pick up so I roll rice in roasted seaweed and cut into small bite-sized pieces. It's much easier for them to pick up and pop into their mouths. This one is also a lot easier to incorporate other items into their diet like avocado, egg, salmons, etc…
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 piece roasted seaweed
- 2 tbsp salmon flakes
- 1 sheet omelet
- 1/2 avocado
- Cut the avocado into sticks. Cut the omelet into strips.
- Add some sesame oil to the steamed rice, mix well.
- Spread a thin layer of rice all over the roasted seaweed. Sprinkle with the salmon flakes and place the avocado and omelet in a row. Roll up into a cylinder with help of a sushi mat.
- Cut into tiny bite-sized pieces.
