Ingredients
Instructions
  • Cut the chicken wings in half at the joint. Rinse well and drain. Season with some salt and pepper. Toss well. Add in the tapioca starch and toss well to coat.
  • In a sauce pan, heat a generous amount of vegetable oil until you see bubbles appear around the chopsticks. Gently drop in the chicken wings and deep fry over medium-low heat until golden brown.
  • In another pan, melt the butter. Add some minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Then add the honey, sugar, soy sauce. Stir and simmer over low heat until slightly thickened. Add the onion slices, stir and cook for 30s.
  • Add in the fried chicken and toss well to coat. Add some chopped green onion if you wish.
  • Garnish with a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds.
