Beef Steak With Wild Betel Leaves

    If you are too familiar with western style steaks. Today i will introduce you a completely new recipe in a style that cannot be any closer to the taste of Vietnamese people. That is beef steak with Wild Betel Leaves. Can you believe it? Let's give it a try!

    • Pat the meat dry with paper towel, and season both sides with a little salt and pepper.
    • Add anchovy fish sauce, pineapple, garlic, and sugar to blend finely. Add lime juice, chili, and sugar to taste.
    • Heat the pan to medium heat, add ½ tbsp oil and swirl the pan in a circular motion to spread the oil evenly.
    • Place the steak in the pan for 3-4 minutes per side depending on the thickness of the meat.
    • Add butter, crushed garlic, and the shredded wild betel leaves.
    • When the butter is completely melted, use a spoon to pour the garlic butter over the meat repeatedly until it reaches the desired doneness.
    • Place the meat on the plate, sprinkle with the crispy wild betel leaves on top.
