The dish " Banana blossom with Mantis shrimp salad" is a delicate combination of natural ingredients, creating a distinctive and appealing flavor. Fresh and delicious mantis shrimp is carefully prepared, combined with the freshness of shredded banana blossom, resulting in a harmonious dish.
- 100 g banana blossom
- 1/2 carrot
- 1/2 onion
- 200 mantis shrimp
- Basil leaves
- Peanuts
- Fried shallots
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp chili
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp tamarind juice
- Peel and julienne the carrot and onion. Place them in a bowl, add vinegar and sugar, mix well, and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan, add minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant. Add 1 tsp fish sauce, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp tamarind juice, 1 tsp chopped chili, and stir until boiling. Then add the mantis shrimp and stir-fry.
- Soak banana blossom, carrot, and onion in a bowl. Add the stir-fried mantis shrimp, basil leaves, and crushed peanuts, mix well.
- Transfer the salad to a serving plate, sprinkle fried shallots on top, and serve with prawn crackers.
