Known in Vietnam as "kem trung" (lit. egg cream), many Hanoians are likely to profess fond childhood memories of the drink. The egg cream is soft and creamy, served best with freshly baked Vietnamese baguette.

- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp sweetened condensed milk
- In a glass, combine 2 egg yolks, sugar, honey, and condensed milk. Mix on high speed with an electric mixer until the mixture is thick and creamy, for about 15 minutes. You can add cacao or matcha powder (about 1 teaspoon) to make customize the flavors of your eggnog. Served with freshly baked Vietnamese baguette.
