QUAIL EGG MEATBALL / QUAIL SCOTCH EGGS

A lovely snack with quail eggs that you can make for your kids.
Ingredients
- 200 g ground pork or pork paste
- 20 pcs quail eggs boiled, peeled
- 100 g tempura flour
- 100 g bread crumbs
- 2 pcs eggs
- stock powder
- pepper
- vegetable oil
Instructions
- Season the ground pork with stock powder and pepper. Mix well and leave to sit for about 15 minutes.
- Pinch a tablespoon amount of the pork, press to flatten into a disk, place the boiled quail egg into the center, and shape into a meatball. Repeat till finish.
- Roll the meatball over some tempura flour then drop into the beaten egg and roll over the breadcrumbs.
- In a saucepan, heat the vegetable oil to 165 degree C. Deep fry the meatballs until golden brown.
- Remove and place on paper towel to drain off the excess oil.
- Serve as a snack or appetizer.
