Sugar cane juice with jackfruit is a perfect combination of the sweet flavor of jackfruit, the refreshing taste of sugarcane, and the gentle sourness of pineapple. A fantastic choice for cooling down on hot summer days.

  • Separate the jackfruit pods, remove seeds. Slice half into strands, and half into small pieces.
  • In a saucepan, combine the jackfruit pieces, pineapple juice, 2 tsp sugar, a pinch of salt, simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes until slightly thickened, then squeeze in one persimmon and turn off the heat.
  • Pour the jackfruit mixture into a glass, add ice, sugarcane juice, jackfruit strands, white tapioca pearls, and roasted peanuts. Serve.
